Summer Playground Program
Pre–registration Only - NO Walk-Ins
 
* Youths ages 5 to 13 – Tues., July 5th to Fri., August 11th – Monday to Friday only 
   6 week program, from 10:00am to 3:00pm each day.
*Two locations:
       Cherry Rd. School  & John Carno Recreation Center
* With safety as our first priority, pre-registration is necessary (no walk-ins) and an application or online registration is necessary.  There is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 participants for each program location.
* Fees: Based on per child, resident, nonresident and Family Rate
Geddes residents - $200 per child,  $190 for each additional child - Family rate (more than 1 child)
 Non-residents -      $225 per child,  $215 for each additional child - Family rate (more than 1 child)
* A parent or guardian must sign in and sign out the child daily.  All participants must stay at the program from 10:00am to 3:00pm, unless a parent pre-arranges any changes with the Department or employees.
* All participants MUST BE PICKED UP BY 3:00PM or a late fee will be charged.
* Snacks or lunches may be brought by participants, but not shared.  Participants must bring their own filled water bottles.  The Town is not responsible for and will not have available snacks, lunches or water bottles.
To register, go to TownofGeddesRecreationDepartment.com and click “Create New Account” to create your account. This allows quicker and easier access to program registrations, facility reservations, memberships, and more. Be sure to add everyone in your household when creating your account, and don’t forget to opt in for cancellation notifications via email or text. Your new household account will provide you with registration history, transaction receipts, and so much more!  If you choose not to pay
by credit card, the registration will be put on hold until payment has been made in person
or by mail.  Once payment for the program has been made, the registration will be complete.  BUT, with the registration on hold, you child’s space is not guaranteed until payment is complete.  
If you are unable to register online, applications are available at the Recreation Department Office.  
When paying by credit card, there will be a 3% convenience fee add to the cost of programs.
 **Vaccination/Immunization records, Health History & other forms must be submitted no later than June 19th if not earlier..for registration to be complete.
